School's Out: I Can Rest!
School got out today and boy am I glad! Finally, I can get some much needed rest. The kids were happy and I was too. It was a mutual parting. Gifts were given, greeting cards exchanged, and lots of hugs and goodbyes were doled out. I was extremely glad to drive off the parking lot today, knowing that for the next two weeks I am free to do whatever I want, which is to simply rest. I thought this day would never get here!
I pray that all of my students and colleagues will have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I pray especially for my students to be safe, stay out of trouble and have the merriest Christmas ever. I pray that families who are traveling this holiday season will have safe travels and a prosperous journey. I pray that as many gather together for the festitivities that their conversations will be focused around the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus, our Savior. I pray that everyone reading this blog will have a joyous and holy holiday that will be remembered for years to come. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
