Year-End Testimony!
Today is the last day of 2015 and it has been a great year because of the Lord, my God. God is great and greatly to be praised. I have witnessed God do so many awesome things in my life that if I had 10,000 tongues I'd never be able to tell it all. There are no words to express my gratitude. God can do anything! Iv'e received so many blessings from the Lord this year. Miracle after miracle. When it looked like there was no way, God showed up on my behalf. Jesus is a way

The Great Exchange
The day after Christmas everybody was busy going back to the stores exchanging gifts. People were trading gifts that they didn't like, want, or need, for things they really wanted. Sales people worked long and tirelessly trying to eradicate the long lines, one customer at a time, but the lines grew longer by the minute. The exchanges being made were ordinary, but one day there was an extraordinary exchange that changed the entire course of human history. It was the day Je

Let It Go!
2016 is at the door, but we can't go into this new year and season, carrying the weight of the past. We've got to let go of old mindsets and old grudges. We've got to let go of old hurts and old heartaches. We've got to let go of everything that keeps us burdened down and walking in unforgiveness. We've got to release people from past mistakes and forgive them, no matter how hurtful or painful it may have been. In order to enjoy the bountiful blessings of this new season

Where Do We Go From Here?
Christmas has come and gone. 2015 is almost over and the 2016 new year is upon us. This is a good time to reflect on this past year, our victories and failures assessing what we did right and wrong, make corrections and move on from here. We can either go forward or revert back to our old ways, which will never be profittable, if we intend to improve. So the question is, where do we go from here? Before you answer, take a good long look back at the 2015 year and ask yourse

Happy Birthday to Me!
Wow! This is the season of celebration. What an exciting time. Today is Dec. 27th, just two days after celebrating Christmas and now I am celebrating my birthday. I have good reason to celebrate because if it had not been for the Lord who was on my side, I wouldn't have made it to see my birthday. God has been so good to me and I got to give Him the praise, glory, and honor that He deserves and is worthy of. Nobody can do me like Jesus. I searched all over and can't fi

Jesus is Jubilee!
September brought in Jubilee, but this was no ordinary Juiblee. It was the 70th Jubilee since Joshua led the children of Israel into the promised land. It marked a time of celebration for the Jews because God gave them their long awaited inheritance. God established four special provisions of Jubilee. They are rest, release from debt, freedom from slavery (liberty), and restoration. God instituted Jubilee for His people, to provide these special blessings and Jubilee onl

Out of the Mouth of Babes
I arrived in Dallas to see my son and his family for Christmas last night and my eight year-old grandson told me something very interesting. He told me of a little girl in his school who said that Santa was Jesus. A little boy nearby heard what she said and responded by telling her, "You got a lot to learn." She said, "That's what my Momma told me." The little boy replied, "Then your momma's got a lot to learn." I was proud of that little kid because he knew the truth an

Give God the Glory
The word teaches us to do everything for God's glory. states, "Whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God." (I Cor. 10:31) We must not be like the religious leaders of Jesus' day, who loved to be seen and heard looking pious and praying long and loud prayers to get the praises of men. No, everything we do, whether great ro small must be done to the glory of God, or else it's worthless. Many people like to give so men can see and praise them for their good deed. If you

You Passed the Test!
Wow! 2015 is almost over. It's been rough, although there were many highs and lows. You may have gone through alot, but the Lord was with you and He sustained you. You survived one of the most difficult challenges of your life, but in spite of it all, you got the victory. God did it. He has brought you through every trial and test of 2015, so congratulations is in order. You passed the test, now go on and give God some praise! Some folks didn't make it, but you were ble
