The Lord's Great Doings
When God makes a promise, He fulfills it. Unlike some fathers, God does exactly what He says. Whatever God speaks, He will do just that. He is God and He cannot lie. It is impossible for God to lie.
Some Christians may feel that trusting God is hard, but really that's easy because God cannot lie. His word is so powerful that once He speaks, His word immediately goes out and does what He said. "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, butit shall acccomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)
And God does some really awesome things. God is so amazing. He has done so many things foir me that simply astound me. I will never be able to stop thanking Him for all He has done for me. When I look back over my life and see all that God has done, I can only say one thing. "This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in my eyes." (Psalm 118:23)
I am so in awe of God and His great and mighty power! There is no limit to what God can do. "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26) What a mighty God we serve!
