God's Plan for God's Purpose

Whenever I read the story of Esther, Joseph, Rahab, or Jephthah, I look in awe at the way God does things to bring about His plans and purposes. The way God accomplishes His will is is totally different from the way you or I would do things. But God, who is all-wise has an uncanny way of unfolding His plans and purposes. Watching God work is such an amazing adventure. God allowed Esther to be orphaned to make her a queen, so she could later marry a king and save her people from total annihilation. God brought Esther into the kingdom "For such a time as this." (Esther 4:14) God allowed Joseph to be hated and sold into slavery by his brothers so that years later he could "save much people alive." (Genesis 50:20) God, used Rahab a harlot, to help two Jewish spies, and in turn save her entire family from destruction when Jericho was invaded by Israel. Jephthah, the illegitimate son of Gilead was used by God to save Israel from destruction by the Ammonites. God uses the most unusal circumstances to bring us to the end of ourselves unto the foot of the cross.

Every man's salvation experience may be different, but the results are the same, to wit: salvation in Jesus' name. Often, we question why God allows this or that, especially when siutations may seem unfavorable. God knows what He is doing and He will use anyone, or anything to bring to pass His plan for His purposes. Nothing is happening in our lives by "coincidence". Everything ,(the good and the bad) is part of God's plan because everything is moving by the divine providence, power, and will of God to fulfill His plans and purposes for our lives. So instead of worrying or fretting, sit back and relax, because the Sovereign God who created the heavens and the earth has got everything under control!
